KidogoYo Kitchen

Mouse is a creative and experienced cook; having worked for many families, as well as small hotels in Kenya, she is very passionate about the how the power of a fresh, balanced meal, homemade and shared with those around them, can harness kindness and community as well as happy and healthier people. She also believes it’s very important for children to learn about what they feed their bodies (how it affects moods, focus & sleep). She hosts workshops where she combines creating a healthy and delicious snack or meal that children or teens can recreate at home, combined with a carefully curated fun yoga class to support the needs of those children.

Yoga parties!!!

Through her experience creating workshops, Mouse now hosts birthday parties within London. These classes can be tailored to your wishes, but typically, children begin by learning about essential oils how they can affect mood and brighten a room. They then create their ‘savasana oil’ in mini bottles, to be used at the at the end of a fun yoga session.

After the yoga Mouse and the children move to the kitchen, where they learn and create a healthy snack/breakfast option, a nourishing main meal and a pudding. Mouse discusses with the children why she has chosen certain ingredients and how they can benefit their body and mind. They learn to safely chop, grate and grind their ingredients, learning how food should look, feel, smell and taste when freshly prepared. The food is then served as a group feast.
